Mission-Critical Video Made Simple

Active Security needed to stream real-time video from OT sensors across cellular, satellite, and fiber networks to secure high-stakes events.

The challenge

High-stakes video via fragile networks

Active Security faced a complex technical challenge: delivering real-time video streams from operational technology (OT) sensors and systems during high-visibility events. These streams needed to reach a global audience reliably across cellular, satellite, and fiber WANs. Each event required low-latency video from multiple remote locations, and traditional VPNs and hardware-based SD-WANs were too inflexible, costly, and slow to deploy.

“Traditional VPN and hardware-based solutions simply couldn’t meet the speed, flexibility, and security requirements our discerning clients demand.”

The solution

Secure connectivity without compromise

Using ZeroTier, Active Security designed a software-defined network that created low-latency peer-to-peer connections through a virtual ethernet overlay. It unified disparate networks across satellite, 5G, and fiber into a single virtual fabric while securing all traffic with end-to-end encryption and strict access controls.
