ZeroTier links a personal laptop to a cloud VM for network engineering practice, as shown when Network Collective connects a laptop to a Google Cloud VM running EVE-NG, a network emulation platform, over a ZeroTier virtual network. ZeroTier’s role here is demonstrated through an embedded Network Collective video rather than written instructions, giving a third-party, real-world example of ZeroTier bridging personal hardware and cloud infrastructure for lab work. Watching that demonstration, rather than following written steps, is the intended way to see ZeroTier in action.
